What is a Doula?

As your doula, my job is to ensure that you remember your birth experience positively. I will be your support, your advocate and a source of comfort for you during the last weeks of your pregnancy, labour, birth and postpartum. 

My services include:

Initial consultation at no charge to discuss your needs and wants and the services I provide. This will determine if we are the right fit for each other.

Prenatal visits where I work with you to develop a plan for your ideal birth, education on what you can expect during pregnancy and labour and also prepare you and your family to bring baby home. 

Birth day: I will be with you throughout labour, delivery and the first hours post birth. I will be there to support you and your birth partner by providing hands on care, comfort, coaching and encouragement as we welcome baby safely into the world. 

Postnatal visits where I can provide feeding support, caring for baby while you rest, meal prep, laundry or whatever your needs may be.
