Therapeutic massage consists of a combination of Swedish, myofascial and deep tissue techniques tailored specifically to the needs and comfort level of the client.
It consists primarily of hands on manipulation of the soft tissues of the body, specifically, the muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments and joints for the purpose of optimizing health.
Physical function can be developed, maintained and improved; and physical dysfunction, pain and the effects of stress can be relieved or prevented though treatment.
Therapeutic massage is also safe for most women pre and post natal.
Fascia is the connective tissue in our bodies that penetrates and wraps around muscles, bones, nerves and organs. FST manipulates, lengthens, reorganizes and realigns your fascia. FST can increase joint space, eliminate trigger points and improve muscle activation and relaxation. Unlike other methods of stretching that can be uncomfortable or painful, FST is pain free with lasting results. Regular treatments will lead to a reduction in pain, improved posture and functional ability, reduced risk of injury, enhanced athletic performance and overall increased quality of life.
FST is performed with the client fully clothed using straps to anchor them to the table.

Gua sha or instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation (IASTM) uses specific tools to treat hypertonicity and myofascial trigger points within the soft tissue. It is used for external conditions that manifest as pain, soreness and distension caused by stagnation. Gua sha acts to flush meridians and activate blood circulation.
Cupping is a powerful manual technique used for breaking up localized congestion, increasing circulation and improving the overall health and well being of the body.
Suction cups placed on the skin create a negative pressure that facilitates rigid soft tissue release, loosens and lifts connective tissue and drains stagnation.
